物理性状：白色至类白色粉末；溶于乙醇，参考浓度为1 mg/mL；熔点为262-264℃。

用途：本品仅供科研，不得用于其它用途。干细胞生物学，生化试剂，生物活性小分子，细胞信号转导和神经科学，细胞生物学，酶、抑制剂和底物。广泛应用于分子生物学，药理学等科研方面。地塞米松是一种人工合成的肾上腺皮质激素，目前一般认为其对各种原因（物理、化学、生物、免疫等）引起的炎症都有很强的消炎作用。如减轻炎症早期的渗出、水肿、毛细血管扩张、白细胞浸润及吞噬反应，从而改善红、肿、痛等症状；炎症后期，可抑制毛细血管和纤维母细胞的增生，延缓肉芽组织生成，防止粘连及疤痕形成，减少后遗症。
